Speech-language Pathologist:

Job Description:

Provide quality, evidence-based, fun speech and language therapy and assessments to children/adolescents ages 0-20 years old as a speech language pathologist in a fun, dynamic private practice and have the opportunity to work with some of Colorado’s best SLPs.

Knowledge and ability requirements:

  • Experience in a pediatric therapy setting is required

  • Ability to manage kids, and an affinity for working with kids is required

  • A friendly, happy, personable demeanor is required

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree, or leveling degree in Speech Language Pathology

  • Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Pass a background check and provide references

  • CCC’s or working toward CCC’s


Occupational Therapist:

Job Description:

Provide quality, evidence-based, fun occupational therapy and assessments to children/adolescents ages 0-20 years old in a dynamic, growing private practice. As an OT you will carry a full or part-time case load and have the opportunity to work with some of Colorado’s best therapists.

Knowledge and ability requirements:

  • Experience in a pediatric setting and experience with SPD is required

  • Ability to manage kids, and an affinity for working with kids is required

  • A friendly, happy, personable demeanor is required

  • After-school availability from 3-6 pm is required

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree related to Occupational Therapy

  • Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Pass a background check and provide references


Physical Therapist:

Pediatric Licensed Professional Counselor:

Job Summary:

Straka Pediatric Therapies is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our multidisciplinary pediatric clinic to provide mental health services to children. The successful candidate will have experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds including Speech-Language, OT and PT diagnoses and will provide evidence-based treatment for a variety of mental health concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling services to children and their families.

  • Administer assessments and conduct thorough evaluations to develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote positive behavioral and emotional outcomes.

  • Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and other mental health providers to provide comprehensive care to children.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with clinic policies and procedures.

  • Attend and participate in regular staff meetings and case conferences.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current in the field and maintain licensure.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in counseling or related field.

  • Current license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.

  • Experience working with children and adolescents with a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with children, families, and colleagues.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Knowledge of Spanish and quick acquisition of computer skills are preferred but not required.

  • Evaluation and treatment materials provided by clinic.

  • Supervision Opportunity:

This position provides supervision hours required for licensure as an LPC in Colorado; as such recent Master’s graduates may apply. Supervision and training will include testing and protocols, treatment methods, specific client reviews and documentation oversight.
